Jetson Green: Bike Arc Modular Bike Park System

Doesn't seem to be a way to secure the front wheel and frame to a lock...

That's what I thought, too. I don't lock my bike anywhere that won't allow the frame to be locked to something.

If they solved that problem, they are pretty cool, though.

The way the red bar goes up, you can easily lock up both the back tire and the frame all at the same time. That's about all that you need, isn't it?

Most front wheels are just a latch and you can pop them off. So that you can fit them in a car or something. So people like to lock their front wheel and frame to the rack.

I like that it saves space, why not just flip the bike in backwards?

What a great idea! It saves space, and looks nicer than a normal bike rack. Portland is like bike city USA, so I wonder why I have not seen any of these around town. Either they have not made it big here yet, or I have not been paying attention.

I'm definitely in favor of more bike parking being available. These designs are useless for those of us who don't commute on diamond frame bicycles though. My tadpole style recumbent trike would block the isle of the half arc and couldn't even be put in the tube arc.
