M Realty · 5 months agoGreat idea. We have been needing this nationally for a long time. Without it, there is no incentive or even the information needed to have an efficient building. Contractors like to do what is quick cheap and easy and would rather not have this rating system around. However, by having it we can almost instantly start improving our carbon footprint.

Jerry Yudelson · 5 months agoBuilding Performance Labeling is right on. In my new book, "Green Building Trends: Europe" (Island Press, 2009), I point out how this is being implemented in the European Union, along with many other green design, construction and operations initiatives.
